Downtown Cozumel is a grid of one way streets alternating east and west
and north and south. Once you know the system, getting around the island
is a breeze. Ave Rafael Megar is a 2-way street that runs north to south
and will get you from the north hotel zone all the way south to Chankanaab
Park and Punta Celarain. Av. Benito Juarez, also called the Trans Island
Road, will take you from the modern west side of the island to Cozumel’s
"untamed" east side. | |
