There are lots of different ways to get to the island and many handy hints that will make that planning go a little easier.

By Plane
The quickest way to get to Cozumel, is by plane. There are many flights each week coming from all over the US, Canada, Cancun and Mexico City. If you are flying from a major US city then we suggest that you check with your travel agent and ask about the safe and reliable charter services available. Many times these agencies offer discounted airfare and even hotel packages at half the cost of a commercial airline. The only drawback is that you are on their schedule and sometimes lose a day of vacation since you are arriving later and leaving early.

Continental Airlines
Continental has one commercial flight from Houston, TX that is direct and arrives midday during the week and twice on the weekends. The flight is generally a very beautiful one and a short 2 hours (give or take 15 minutes).
Cozumel now offers service from many other commercial airlines as well as Continental -- American Airlines, Delta, US Air, Northwest, Frontier, Mexicana and AeroMexico
Charter Flights
If you prefer to save a little money and time on your next trip to the island, consider this travel option. Aside from often expensive commercial flights, there are several specialty companies that offer airfare to and from most major cities in the U.S. and parts of Canada and fly directly to Cozumel. Talk to your local travel agent about some of these charter companies: Apple Vacations, SunTrips, Funjet Vacations, Go-Go and Liberty Travel, and MLT Worry-Free Vacations. These companies vary by region.
