Cozumel's originial dune buggy tour is back at last- read on to find out the details!
First things first, you will meet your guide at the Diver's memorial downtown at 10 a.m. local time.
From there you will walk to the dune buggys and pile in! Off you go-
1.) Snorkel Stop on the West coast of the island (Not deep waters). The tour guide leads the way into the ocean.
2.) El Cedral- historical stop. This was Couzmel's first town as well and we celebrate it every year on May 5.
3.) A beach on the other side of the island (East), where there are a couple of men with shops-on-wheels. People who want to shop and don’t have time, get a quick break on a beach where they can shop for souvenirs, or just enjoy the view. No obligations or encouragements to buy, good chance to just look at Mexican arts and crafts and taste fresh coconut! (Note: In case you’d like to purchase something, you will need cash)
4.) Lunch stop on a beach on the East side of the island. This is the longest and last stop that you make. Guacamole, Pico de gallo, totopos, chicken, tortillas and rice are served; the softdrinks and beer are served throughout the whole tour.
(Please note that due to federally funded ecological impact studies regarding our coastlines and jungles, there is no off-roading at this time for any one on any tour).
COST AND HOW TO RESERVE:
The cost is $89 per adult and $45 per child (age 4-8). Payment in full is required in order to book the trip. Once you confirm you will be joining us, let me know which e-mail address I should send your paypal deposit invoice to. Once you have paid, PRINT OUT the receipt containing valid info such as instructions on how to get to the meeting area. The balance will be due in the form of US DOLLARS, TRAVELERS CHECKS OR MEXICAN PESOS. Credit cards are not accepted in Cozumel for any balances due.

Meeting Location: the Diver's Memorial located right on the water at Calle 2 Norte and Rafael Melgar. From the Punta Langosta Port this is a 6 block walk. (approx. 20 minute walk) or a $8usd taxi for up to 4 passengers. From the International or Puerta Maya piers the cost of a taxi would be approx. $8usd for up to 4 passengers.
Meeting Time: 10:00am **LOCAL TIMES**CENTRAL USA TIME ZONE** Please note that ship time and shore time may differ and usually do for ships leaving Eastern time. Our tour times are set for LOCAL TIME in Cozumel. Be sure to adjust your time to local time upon arrival to Cozumel so that you arrive at the correct time for this tour.
Excursion Time: 10:30am-approx 3:30pm (Please advise guides of your port departure time and we will be sure to get you back in time)
Tips: Be sure to bring sun screen, beach towels and be ready for swimming and snorkeling. If you are planning to drive a Dune Buggy you must know how to drive a stick shift and you MUST bring your DRIVERS LICENSE. THIS TOUR GOES RAIN OR SHINE. In the unlikely event of inclement weather causing an excursion cancellation or port cancellation your deposit will be refunded MINUS A $5 PER PERSON PROCESSING FEE. In case of excursion cancellation please e-mail back WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF TOUR DATE TO REQUEST SAID REFUND. If the operator has to cancel a tour, you will be met and informed at the official meeting point.
PLEASE NOTE THAT NO SHOWS AND LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED- PER THE TERMS OF YOUR RESERVATION. PLEASE CONTACT chellie@eagleraydivers.com immediately should you require any last minute assistance prior to your arrival into Cozumel. Every ship has an internet room and in the event of illness or ship delays or any unforeseen situation that arises that affects your tour, we kindly ask that you contact us ASAP so that we can prepare accordingly. Failure to due so may result in the full charge of your tour.
The dune buggies seat 4 persons, however whenever possible and if space allows we try to accommodate couples with their own buggies. Please note that this cannot be guaranteed and we reserve the right to put four persons per buggy.
